This may be slightly off topic but, this short article i came across reports that generic drug companies are challenging patent laws in Canada as a 'ban on competition'. The brand name drug makers argue that they 'need the protection' to ensure they recover of money spent in 'developing' these drugs. Not exactly what we're talking about but, another instance of large corporations hiding behind (and admitting) strategic sabotage.
