The most recent episode of '30 Rock' offers some brilliant insights on the distinction between business v. industry. Of course, it has a massive under-current of cheerleading the 'American Innovator' and treats the non-productive ownership structure as a recent anomaly. But, set that aside and its a great popular treatment of the topic. Also, and unrelated, set aside the condescending treatment of women's sexuality.
